Searching Recorded Data
The Vista Columbus Triplex CDR has a powerful search interface feature that
allows the user to search for data on the internal hard disk. The user may search
the data for previous recording sessions, text insertion, and alarm conditions.
Because the search interface is so dynamic, the search interface is covered in
detail in a separate section of this manual. See section 5.

2.5 Recording
By default, when the unit is powered up it starts recording and record lock is
on.To begin recording, press the Record button. Recording will be indicated by
the LED located directly above the Record button. The unit always starts
recording at the end of previously recorded data. The unit will continue recording
until the record button is pressed again, unless Record Lock is ON.
Record Button
The Vista Columbus Triplex CDR also remembers its current record mode in the event of power loss.
If the unit was recording during a power loss, then when power is restored the unit will put itself back in
that mode.
